VOBWIN

VOBWIN is a SHAREWARE versioned document management software. It is based on ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) technology to take advantage of the processing power and security features of database system. It can be used with almost all database engines including Microsoft Access.
You can use VOBWIN to manage your important documents, track revisions, and search or retrieve old versions. VOBWIN retains the revision history of your important documents. VOBWIN can be used to track any type of files. It is only limited by the capacity of your hard disk. VOBWIN also allows you to attach user-defined name and notes to each version so that you can retrieve them easily later. VOBWIN provides you with the full revision history of a file.
VOBWIN uses explorer like user interface to make versioned file more conceptual and easier to manipulate than traditional version control software. There are no text-based commands to remember, no check in/out to perform before you change a document. You simply add versions to the system when you feel like. VOBWIN shell extension adds VOBWIN commands to right-click context menu, making it easier to add/get versions within Windows Explorer and other applications.
VOBWIN also facilitates the process of retrieving old files by providing flexible search capabilities. You can search your revision by name, notes, date, file type, file size or version number.
