Eliminate paper
The content of documents and their signatures are bound together when using SignDoc. A unique identifier (hash code) protects the integrity of documents (content and signatures) against unauthorized alterations.
Documents produced with SignDoc contain an invisible signature vector - the encrypted data set of static and dynamic characteristics of a signature. The signature documents a proof of intent and the identity of the signer. Its data set is connected to the document and can not be extracted.
Just forget PINs and Passwords
Most electronic documents are protected using passwords - even those carrying an electronic (digital) signature based on cryptographic solutions. However: Anyone who knows a users password, may maliciously create, alter or send documents in the name of the user.
Signatures are the most widely accepted method of showing an intent. Unlike PINs, signatures cannot be read from a memo sheet
Signatures cannot be forgotten. It is estimated that forgotten passwords costs system administrators approximately $200 per work station every year.
Double Safety: SOFTPROs unique Combo Verification
A signature that was captured with SignDoc may be compared using two technologies, the static image of the signature and the invisible biometric characteristics of the writing movement such as speed and pressure.
In the absence of dynamic signature parameters, static features may be used for comparison. Static technology has been successfully user for more than a decade in financial institutions worldwide.
