OmniReports
|
OmniReports acquires computer output from a pre-defined path or print spool of various business applications. It accepts multiple file formats like ASCII, AFP, EBCDIC etc. It is compatible with diverse applications running on different platforms such as Unix based COBOL applications, DOS, AS400 and other main frame systems.
Classification and Archival of Reports
Classification of various departments is done into folders. The reports in those departments are classified into sub-folders. Query fields and indexes can be user defined which will act as search criteria for retrieving reports at a later date. Using state-of-the-art compression technique a report can be compressed to one tenth of its original size, ensuring availability of more reports online.
Working on Reports
Once the reports are compressed and archived into respective folders, you can search, annotate, write notes, send alerts and export them to other applications like Excel. You can search for headers as well as detailed transaction in any report. You can add your valuable comments on the retrieved pages and then securely share the report pages as well as the comments with your co-workers. You can also send alerts to other users to bring specific reports to their notice.
Report Sharing and Distribution
OmniReports supports multiple methods of report distribution. You can access reports via the web, distribute them through a CD with a viewer to offline branches or print searched reports. You can also send the report through fax.
