Industry studies estimate that 70% of the costs of a manual filing system are accounted for by salaries. Subject to security, e4DM allows each user to have online access to the centralised document store.
Usually the average-seek-times for documents are just a few seconds, providing significant time-savings compared to traditional paper, microfilm or microfiche alternatives. Some customers have found that it has saved approximately five minutes to a couple of hours per retrieved document.
