Documentation Manager

Very often today different people create a variety of information using a standard office software package. All these documents are stored locally on a PC. The result is different layouts for offers, company profile presentations, product sheets etc. All because you do not know what has been created already or where to look.
As the business climate tightens we cannot afford this.
Instead the approach should be to store and share the information that should be structured in such a way that it is easy to find and re-use.
What can we do about it then?
The most common solution is to store the information on a file server instead of using the own PC hard disc.
This is a less good method as you cannot reach the information needed when you are outside the company. Also, it is hard to build a logical structure where it is easy to find the information stored.
In Documentation Manager the information is held on an internet server that makes it possible to reach all the information wherever you are and can access the internet.
Documentation Manager makes it a simple task to build a logical order where it is easy to find again the information asked for.

Please note that we do not use a common sort order but a logical node order.
Every node contains a document and “System EFG” then contains a system overview, while the respective product contains a product overview as well as separate documents for different purposes, i.e. Maintenance. |
