ActiveMedia delivers content through a standard web browser, eliminating the need to install any software on the user’s desktop. ActiveMedia is available as installed server-side software or as a fully hosted outsourced solution.
How It Works
Rich media content can be uploaded into ActiveMedia through an intuitive interface. ActiveMedia automatically creates and stores a separate index (metadata) for each file, allowing content to be searched by name, keyword, text within a document, etc.
Once files are in the system, users can find files through keyword searches or by browsing through a familiar folder directory structure. Any file can be instantly reviewed or downloaded, or team members (with appropriate permissions) can add comments or change descriptive information.
ActiveShare: File Sharing
In ActiveMedia 5.0, users can create and store content in their personal folders and develop their own folder hierarchy. The ActiveMedia ActiveShare feature provides convenient, flexible, and secure collaboration by enabling users to share their personal folders with other registered users. |
