4TOPS Document Management is a combination of add-ins for
Microsoft Access, which lets you create documents, control
storage and locate documents using Microsoft Access.
Document Creation: The system uses 4TOPS Word Link and
4TOPS Excel Link to create documents, if required filled
with data from the Access database.
Document Storage: Using the storage tab in Word Link you
can determine where you want to store documents (folder
related to type of document, author, client, record field,
etcetera) and how to name them (record field, using a custom
function, etcetera)
Document retrieval: 4TOPS Filter Builder is included to
let you define any selection you like on available document
records (author, date changed, type of document, name, etcetera
).
Document Management: Toolbar buttons let you invoke functions
to carry out common file management actions:
Edit or View documents
Copy documents
Delete documents
Rename documents
Link documents to the database
