Stellent Capture provides an interface with document scanning and indexing tools to solve these business challenges. This solution eases the burden for business applications that must process many types and formats of incoming paper documents.
Stellent Capture offers two methods of scanning and indexing via the Web:
Simultaneously scan remotely and index centrally - eliminates the need to ship paper documents to a central site for scanning and processing
Scan and index remotely - allows the operator in each remote office to key indexes from image or paper
Stellent Capture ensures the output of the index operator -- saving both time and money -- by providing an easy-to-use tool to manually index and file documents. It increases productivity through real-time indexing and validation, field masking, picklist and sticky fields. Separator sheet detection also quickly indexes multiple page documents. Leveraging bar code and patch code recognition eliminates the need for manual indexing. As Stellent Capture reads bar codes, it automatically populates the index fields, which results in significantly reduced data entry bottlenecks. |
