Adlib ExpressRecognition Server provides server
based Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to support high
volume document workflows. ExpressRecognition Server quickly
converts millions of static paper documents – faxes,
photocopies and images – into editable and searchable
electronic files such as PDF or Txt - all within an automated
workflow.
This best of breed OCR software solution can run as a standalone
solution or in combination with Adlib ExpressPublishing
and ExpressConversion Servers to provide a wide array of
document conversion (Word to PDF, DWG to PDF, HTML to PDF
and more), document security and PDF editing functionality
(document assembly, and stamping).
Adlib ExpressRecognition Server can be further enhanced
with Barcode Recognition and Optical Mark Recognition (OMR)
options. In addition, it can perform OCR on specific regions
of a page - a process known as Zonal OCR – and extract
the recognized data into XML files for further analysis.
