OfficeClips Office Portal contains a feature-rich set of applications that allow a highly-customizeable team communication environment. It is designed to run on a web server that can be accessed via a web browser or web-enabled mobile device. Created using the Microsoft .Net framework®, it provides flexible configuration and implementation on numerous web client devices, such as web browsers, Palm® devices, and web-enabled mobile phones.

Group Communication Options
The OfficeClip Office Portal offers several web-based group or organization-level communication options. Group polling, accessed via a Home Page portlet and configured by an administrator, allows for decisions to be made based on member input. Announcements can be posted to the users Home Page. A bulletin board provides member forums organized by topic. An email client can send, receive, and organize email via a single or multiple POP servers. User Manager provides important member information, while personal or group-based address book can be created to organize and manage other contacts. Address book and member info can be synced in and out using several popular formats.
Platform-Independent Client
The OfficeClip Office Portal is designed to run on a web browser, which ensures platform independence when used on desktop and web-enabled mobile devices.
Powerful Backend built on the MS SQL Server database
All Office Portal information is stored securely stored in an MS SQL Server database, providing architectual power and flexibility in a data-driven environment. OfficeClip products are bundled with the MSDE (Microsoft Desktop Engine), which provides a low-cost, low-volume database solution which can later be migrated to a high-load, high-availability platform.
System Requirements
OfficeClip Group Office Portal can be installed on an enterprise server behind a firewall and can be accessed throughout the organization via a web browser. Depending on the security needs of the organization, the web server and network can easily be configured to access OfficeClip outside the corporate firewall.
